That said, when I looked that up it seems that information and number came from Karoline Leavitt which immediately casts the information into serious doubt.

I did an AI search of the information regarding the assertions regarding Nancy Pelosi’s investment returns before accepting them as reported, and found they are corroborated by the site Unusual Whales. The site tracks the investment returns of members of Congress and confirms Nancy’s stellar results. There are other financial geniuses in Congress but few approaching her (or rather her mid octagenariarn husband’s) brilliance. That does far eclipse the results of the most accomplished financial experts as stated.
